As a new player there is a lot I don't know. I saw someone with a mog weapon and instantly wanted one. They told me what I'd need to make one and I set out to get one. I never actually saw the weapon this person had a black Mage version of it. How the hell was I supposed to know it was one handed? In regards to the primals being able to be traded for two handers, the mog weapons don't glow from like the crafted ones do, do they?

You could have just got the version that drops in thornmarch hard. XP Do some research next time.

They are two different weapons and the one from HM doesn't look anywhere near as good as the crafted one. Do some research next time.
