Newish tank how bonus stats

I recently was told the new patch was making vitality the only main stat tanks will use as it will benefit damage and health pools. However looking at a video of the patch notes it didn't seem to address this can someone let me know if the change is happening? Otherwise I feel I need to retrain from pure vitality to pure strength.

In accordance with this adjustment, the help text for the VIT parameter has also been adjusted.

Go full VIT, don't ever consider PIE.

Thanks again for the quick response. Appologizing if I sound extremely stupid, just found it hard to believe most classes essentially put all their bonus points into one attribute without variant so I was trying to think it all over form multiple angles. Just showed my noob colors.

Sadly, the game doesn't offer any variety in any aspect, including stats... Also, as a side note, if you do DRK, please don't ever take Darkside down, fearing your mp is gonna run out.

Don't bother with Piety. Unless DRK can get 12k MP it won't matter.

Valid question, and one I played with myself. At level 60 I momentarily moved my points from VIT to PIE. The trade off was I lost about 3k HP in exchange for 300 MP. Considering that just one unleash at this level is over 700 MP, the loss in HP didn't even even out to half an unleash. As was stated, not a worthwhile trade off. Also I tested INT accessories to see if it increases the damage of my magic attacks. It does not. Stick with full VIT.

Up until 3.2 it scaled off STR, now it will scale off VIT. Same thing I guess.
