    Well, since someone mentioned Best Ascian, I suppose there's no shame in admitting it -

    When the screen panned in on Nidhoggien/Estinihogg, I kept the dialogue where it was while staring at the red markings on his face, trying to see if it matched up with Mateus' crest.

    I was disappointed.

    Yeah, I thought of Fafhogg when I was writing that, too. Estinihogg just rolls off the tongue better than Nidhoggien, and has bonus XI nostalgia points.

    I actually thought the red markings on Nidhoggien/Estinihogg's face were eerily similar to Nael deus Darnus' in the opening of T9.

    I agree, but my mind is all Ascian, all the time. I had other hopes. Hopes, I say. SE is a cruel master, to shatter my one-cutscene-long dreams of a Mateus crest.

    Hey no judgement from me, we all have our obsessions. You'll always be the #1 Ascian fangirl in my heart. Just as I'll always be absolutely positive Heartstrike is coming back in the next patch...

    It has to. There's no reason such a powerful artefact would be discarded... right? Right....?

    Seeing the eye's grafted to his body was pretty awesome I have to say. I look forward to the actual fight against him, seeing him switch between the elezen form and dragon form should be pretty epic to see.
