Anyone tested how does it work after the patch? Full mapping XP instantly? Achievement?

Not really understanding the complaints here. Unless there's direct interaction with the game world itself, map completion is a tedium at best, on par with gear degradation and escort missions; no one in their right mind *actually* enjoys these.
An exploration-minded player is going to explore irregardless of the map is filled in or not, anyway; it's not going to sacrifice the mystery when you still don't know what's actually at a set of coordinates until you're standing right at them.
If you don't like exploring, you don't have to do it but i always loved it. Nobody needs those maps completed. It's just adventourus, and you're supposed to be an adventurer, right?

I think my problem with changes like these (including various other "nerfs" to "old" content) is that they seem to target no one, for seemingly no reason. Who actually wanted these changes, ever?
If you're already past these parts of the game then you already have these things done and it doesn't affect you at all, like most of us here.
If you're new to the areas and haven't mapped them yet, then why would you need that part to be any easier or faster than it already is? This content is still new to new players, obviously.
Who does this benefit!

It's streamlining. Because the content is becoming old and outdated, they have to streamline it so new players can get to the endgame content faster. Supposedly. Personally, I don't see why we have to speed up the journey when to me at least, a lot of the fun came from the journey itself, but apparently a lot of new players just went to reach endgame as quickly as possible.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

That would imply that the old content sucks compared to new one, which isn't true. I am a new player (only been playing for 2 months), and I can tell you that ARR story and just the scenerey and a whole new world were so exciting that I actually wanted to explore. The best example is East Shroud. I never thought Sylphlands were so big. I was really surprised when I got to go there. A level 20 me could have never imagined it East Shroud expanding to that point. Sigh, I really don't like this. It takes away so many good things for a simple convenience...It's streamlining. Cutting down grinding I can understand. (It is far easier to get good gear at level 50 now than when the game launched for example)It's streamlining. But making maps "auto-explored" doesn't really speed up anything - except for those people who really want the exploration achivements but don't want to do any actual exploration.
It removes some of the fun in exploration while adding a tiny bit of convenience - a convenience that nobody asked for.

It would be nice to get some clarification on how this will be implemented.
I hadn't considered the Aether currents, it would be a shame if everyone just gets them automatically rather than being encouraged to explore and find them. I had so much fun doing that.
I'd love to know the reasoning behind this decision too, seems strange to bring in such a big change when apparently, nobody asked for it.
