Please stop tying regions to classes! (i.e. guild marks and grand companies)

I have not gotten any guild marks since the update. I do all my leves in Uldah and Limsa. I am a pug and craft gld, weaver,
blk smith, and carpenter. So I should get marks all the time in Uldah but I don't. I go to Gridiana once in a while to see if I can get marks but I never see any there either. I was going to start a thread on this but never got around to it so was glad to see this one. Is anyone else having this problem? Am I not doing something right?

what i can confirm is that
For Gladiator, Pugilist, THM, Weaver, Goldsmith, Miners will get it's guildmarks via Guildleve Counter in uldah

For Lancer, Archer, Conjurer, Leatherworker, Botany get em' in Gridania

For Marauder, Blacksmith, Armorer, Culinary, Fishing in Limsa.

I think it also have to do with how many classes are within the levels and what i meant by that is that;

Eg; all the classes are within the same level (eg. between 20-29) you might have a low chance to gain more Marks for a single class.

but if you have like one class that is above others (eg. Gladiator Lvl 30, other are between 20-29) you will get more Gladiator marks if you only choose the Leves level appropriate for it(eg. Lvl 30 GLA do Lvl 30 leves++)

Here's a concept. Rather than tying the guild marks of a leve with any particular class (thus forcing you to play in that class or forfeit the reward)... just reward guild marks based on which job you complete the leve with. Now you get the guild marks you want and you can do it anywhere.

This concept sounds viable and does not go against my needs. It is a very good idea.

I am not sure and didn't pay attention enough to proof my theory is true, but I think since the update, your Guildleve choices available at the LQ counter will only "reroll" or "refresh" once you've done a Levequest.

For example, when I went to Limsa for Cooking LQ, the good ones (inside the city and/or of good level for me) wouldn't pop, so I grabbed a LQ for ARM, did it, turned it in, and returned to check Cooking LQ again. And yeah the list refreshed and some good LQs popped.

Maybe you kept seeing LQ without Guild Mark because you didn't take or do any (since you don't like the reward currently being offered). Please let me know if this is the issue and if you find out that my suggestion work or not.

I do the crafting leves all the time even if they don't give me marks. I'm in the 20 range with all my crafts and I only do those and don't take the 25 so there is not a lot to pick from. Maybe I've just been unlucky I just haven't seen any in a long time. I didn't make it clear because I didn't know what to say but its not since the last update it was the update since they put the marks at the city guilds so I'm talking months that I haven't seen them. But again maybe its because I only can do the 20 leves and sometimes they don't even have those listed so the random might make it a very low rate to find and I just have been unlucky on the days I do them.
