Everybody is still in Ul'dah though.Boo hoo !!
I doubt SE really care, they did this so that people would stop gathering in Ul'dah and sometimes visit the other cities.
Takes 2 mins or less to get an airship to a different city, stop your whining.
As others have said after a while you end up with way too many guildmarks so its not something you have to do indefinitely, Yoshi-P also said choose the company you prefered the best as gear was not going to be resrticted to one company.
Aim for Ifrits weapon not a company one, and as someone else already stated crafted + materia are generally the best weapons in the game.
I don't think so. People brought up the OP's same concern and Yoshi said.. do not pick your grand company based on the gear they offer. That's it. End
The OP doesnt like the black shroud.

Forget all this nonsense! Give me the option on reward of turn in for Leve's to get Marks OR Gil. I don't know how many times I refuse to do a Leve because it has marks I care not for.

Personally I like the way it is. Do leves where you want, if you need guild marks for a certain guild that's in a different place than where you like, then save up your allowance, take a trip, and spam leves for the marks. I got all of the pugilist guild marks needed in under a week by only taking leves that reward them.

I have not gotten any guild marks since the update. I do all my leves in Uldah and Limsa. I am a pug and craft gld, weaver,
blk smith, and carpenter. So I should get marks all the time in Uldah but I don't. I go to Gridiana once in a while to see if I can get marks but I never see any there either. I was going to start a thread on this but never got around to it so was glad to see this one. Is anyone else having this problem? Am I not doing something right?
