Patch Notes, BLM and WHM One Handed Weapons Question

I wonder if the one handed weapons I have from these primals will turn into the two-handed versions or not :/.

You have to exchange them. If not, it will remain as it is.

[2.0] Two-handed conjurer and thaumaturge weapons have been added and are now obtainable from the following trials:
Duty Item
The Bowl of Embers (Hard) >> Ifrit's Rod
The Howling Eye (Hard) >> Garuda's Tail
The Howling Eye (Hard) >> Staff of the Crags
Thornmarch (Hard) >> Mighty Mogrod
The Whorleater (Extreme) >> Wave Cane/Tidal Wave Cane
The Binding Coil of Bahamut >> Allagan Rod

Players will no longer be able to obtain one-handed weapons from the above trials. However, players may exchange their two-handed weapon for one-handed, and vice versa with Aelina in Mor Dhona (X:22 Y:6).
* In the patches hereafter, other one-handed weapons will be designed as two-handed weapons.

What that basically means is that those trials above will only drop the 2-handed version after 3.2. However, you can exchange those new 2-handers for the old 1-hander counterparts. You can also exchange your current 1-handers for the new 2-hander counterparts.

And that last part means that in future patches, they will do the same for other wands.

Yes, but will you able to turn the crafted one handers for a crafted 2 hand equivalent? It mentions the dropped items but not crafted. Sitting on a weapon that cost 10 mil to make and cannot even use for glamour. So will these items remain unusable trash or will we be able to change them out also?

I just wish the devs would just bring crafted ilevel 200+ shields for CNJ/THM ingame.

I think they're trying to do away with the shields completely. My understanding is they're another weird relic of 1.0's gameplay.
