    The Lambs of Dalamud

So....are they still around by now? Last we saw, several dead cultists in Amdapor Keep accidentally summoned Ferdiad with their lifeblood spilling out. Are there any cells remaining?

Because if so, I'm waiting for them to summon a disco-ball primal as a boss fight. Maybe in 4.0+?

If they summon Disco-Dalamud to take over Ul'dah, would that make it a Dance Dance Revolution?

Physically they are, they took over an abandoned Amajina and Sons Mineral Concern mine in Northern Thanalan (the FATE series 'Dark Devices' involves them after all), so there is definitely a danger of them continuing to cause trouble in the future. As for them summoning a Primal version of Dalamud... well... remember Louisoix attempted to do the same thing five years previously, but for different reasons (summoning a Primal version of Dalamud, or rather, summoning the Twelve's power to form a new Dalamud to reseal Bahamut during the Calamity, of course that failed).

Either way, they're definitely not extinct and still active in Eorzea, meaning trouble for all concerned...

It was also mentioned that worshipping Dalamud is the same as worship Bahamut.

This is something I wonder about. Sometimes, patch = continuity. Did we destroy that cell in 2.00 FATEs the same way we wiped out notable members in 2.00 levequests? I had assumed (after the whole Ferdiad incident) that we had completely wiped them out. The NPC that gives you the quest says the Lambs "plague us no longer", hence the bafflement at why the Keep is still a hotspot of ill-boding. The cult rose as Dalamud fell, and Coil is now completely over. I figured their raison d'etre had been fulfilled. Almost seems better to let Bahamut rest in peace (unless we can find a way to Nidhogg him back into being). The "loyal hound" angle would have been cool, but I think we lost our chance with Fenrir.

But other than that, I have no idea if they're still out there.

I think it'll generally follow the rule that if it happened in 2.0, it happened before Heavensward.

So then its ultimate attack would be exploding and transforming into Neo Bahamut.

Lambs of Dalamud is just a crazed cult, nothing more, nothing less. They pose as much danger to people as highway bandits and monsters. The only thing that separates them from normal enemies is that Voidsent can use their bodies to pass through into this realm in their sacrifices to Dalamud. I see it as the Lambs of Dalamud are still around, just we have bigger fish to fry (Garleans, Dragons and Nidhogg, Alexander and the Illuminati, and back in 2.x, we had to deal with Coils). As often as cults do in real life, they either fade out of existence or often the problem sorts itself out (know of the cult Heaven's Gate? Or how about Doomsday Cults in real life?). Lambs of Dalamud are the least of our problems at the moment.
