Chatting on ps4

Hi!

So I play on ps4 and I love it but chatting is really difficult because the controller is super slow so it's hard to be social with my fellow FC mates. I was wondering if anyone knows any ways to make it easier or any keyboards specifically that can connect with the ps4 to type with??

Any links or pics would be great!

Just about any USB keyboard will do the trick.

There's a keyboard called the type pad that plugs into your controller. It makes it considerably easier to type.

Usually on sale at Walmart for around $20. Had it almost 2 years haven't had any probs nor even replaced the batteries.

The PS4 uses standard keyboards like you'd use with a PC, except that it can't recognize the sort of extra keys some gaming keyboards add. So a fancy Razer gaming keyboard that adds a bunch of extra programmable keys would be wasted on it. Go with a basic USB or wireless keyboard and it should work fine.

It's just a standard USB keyboard like you'd use with a PC except that it comes with an 8 foot long cord to better suit typical TV to couch distances.

I bought a USB keyboard at walgreens and its worked pretty well!

A cheap USB keyboard works well. Don't go wireless if you want to avoid drop outs at times if things misconnect etc...

I use MAC Bluetooth keyboard/mouse and PS4 controller, didn't face any problems.

Wireless Keyboard is what i use, and if you have access to a PC or laptop could always use a service like discord which is a voice chat and text program (free) and also they have a app for phones. You would just need a headset

Cheap Bluetooth keyboard is best, preferably one that doesn't require an USB dongle so you can save your ports. Mine was $15 clearanced at target, so I'd stay under $20.
