    As others have said the problem sounds like a typical bugg which has become alot more common after 1.19 and has nothing to do with affinity traits such as axemanship.

    Cooldown timers will glitch and show shorter cooldowns then when the skills will actualy be ready to use again, which creates both confusion and frustration.

    The only known solution is to completely restart the game, how it happends I don't know.
    Sometimes it can happen in middle of a leve when I've playing for a few hours, other times it can happen just minutes after being logged on.

    Axemanship increases Axe affinity by 10.

    When playing as a class you have 100 Affinity in that class, when you sub an ability from another class (not of the weapon you have equipped) your affinity is only 75. With an affinity trait this increases to 85. This means you are 85% rather than 75% effective with that ability.

    For example Ferocity II/Blindside II/Sentinel/Invigorate II/Keen Flurry/Cadence all have 60 second timers.
    When you equip them with another class their timer will be 1:15.
    When you equip them with another class and have an affinity trait their cooldown timer will be 1:05.
    The cooldown is made shorter, the duration (if a buff like Murderous Intent) is longer, and the effect whatever it may be is more powerful.

    Equipping an affinity increasing ability of the class you are currently playing does nothing as your affinity is already at 100 and cannot be increased any further.

    Ignore the other posters on this thread who do not understand the affinity system the display bug for timers has nothing to do with this trait. Affinity traits absolutely work...

    I thought that was how they worked, but it just seems something is wrong with my brothers timers (All of them) when he uses these skills on his character.

    I'll get him to submit a GM report or something because it only happens when he has them equiped (Restart or not)
