I agree, I am sorry that I contributed to this derailing - same thing on the bard topic and on Senpai (lol). Let's get back to the 3.2 notes, but first I want to reply to Arkenne.

Yes, with you doing DPS as a healer you speed things up, but, if you aren't DPSing as a healer don't think of it as "slowing things down", because you are still doing your job as a healer. Not DPSing as a Healer but neither letting people die is a middleground.

Its not mediocrity for a healer to want to heal. Tho I have to agree that if the Healer is plenty skillful at healing already, jumping out of their comfort zone in order to DPS would be pretty welcome.

I think you misunderstood my post. I was replying to a statement that said a Healer not dpsing vs dpsing won't slow down the run. I was correcting in that a healer not DPSing relative to DPSing is slowing down the run. I was not saying blindly a healer not DPSing is slowing down the run. I am using the terms in a relative context here to correct someone who made an illogical statement.

In that I disagree. And to clarify, mediocre is not the same thing as sucking. I am not saying healers who don't DPS are bad, they just are not good. They are mediocre.
