You are missing the whole point of a joke reference. The term they chose to use for this system is "Mentor." Leaving it as Senpai would simply be them stealing a meme with no real self-awareness. So the achievement becomes a play on words. It's like, "Dragoon Age" being a mock shout out for the game series, "Dragon Age." If they had just left it as is, well, it wouldn't work.

Basically, you're not getting the joke.

[3.0] The following adjustments have been made to the Void Ark:
The weekly restrictions on rewards obtained from coffers has been abolished.
Weekly restrictions on mhachi farthings have been abolished.
The Echidna Card which dropped from boss enemies will now drop from treasure chests.
Mhachi Matter has been added to the item rewards received upon completing the Void Ark and can be obtained once a week.
By speaking with Smacklix in Idyllshire (X:7.6 Y:4.8), players can trade their Mhachi Matter for any Materia of their choice.

[3.0] Players at level 50 and above can now gain experience from all of the bosses in the following dungeons:
The Labyrinth of the Ancients / Syrcus Tower / The World of Darkness

Seriously, why not do the same thing for ST, CT & WoD? Make it so the quest The Gift of the Archmagus Also has Mhachi Matter as a reward so the old raids are viable.

I still don't have the minions from ST & WoD. I'd gladly farm them again, and that weekly quest, to get them.

Lol they adjust aspected nocturnal at PvP to halves. I guess I'll back to PvP as SCH again

Hurray for new emotes \o/

Souls of the Crafter only get bonus stat? Pfft. No fix for people who don't have any job to craft anima item? (WVR, LTW, GSM)

Moogle Miniature, Pterodactyl Strap, Blessed Fletchings, all Anima weapon crafts, how can there be a fix for what isn't broken? all 8 crafters are (somewhat) equally involved in obtaining the i210 relic, the three crafters you listed actually have it easier because you do not have to HQ the Anima items in order for CUL / BSM / CRP to take those and make HQ turn ins.

What does it being Japanese have to do with it? Many of the puns and nods are always some arrangement of the original material and I don't see it changing. The last live letter explains why they do the puns the way they do.

I feel I probably understand why, but still a little bit confused why they're releasing the Lightning event items on the 25th rather than the day of the patch >> Come on, SE, I'm dying over here.
