I say at every 3.X5 patch they should ad an ilvl synch. If the min is 200 it should synch at like 215-220.
No, it's not debatable, those are easily provable facts. How one might play falls into the "bad tank/good tank" conundrum. I've always had a STR gearset, which was my main, back in 2.0, nothing changed for me in 3.0 except that I also made a pentameld set when Alexander Savage came out.Debatable. WAR and DRK's only picked up on STR because the enemies start to get too easy to deal with and WAR's stance dancing provide a lot of power, disregarding to stay in Defiance and have Fell Cleave be the solution for nearly every problem.
Hence I am glad they did shove the stat weights back to VIT here and put the tanks back where they belong. Personally, though, SE should've added a item level sync on the new dungeons so they don't get the faceroll treatement after a month has passed and DPS can slack off again by overgearing the current content.
I personally think they should be done with item levels, and center new content around our character level. This pure vertical progression is the bane of the old, and not-so-old content. I know for a fact that I can already faceroll the new dungeons. Dungeons I've never been in, nor seen.

Just because a person is going the VIT path with the stats allocation and accessories, doesn't mean that person is 'bad'.
Equipping strength was mostly a optional feat with the exception of cutting edge content at 2.x, and right now because of HW and the tank meta starting to shift to favor STR gear only, SE decided to cut in and get you down the path what was meant for you.
I never, ever said or even implied that a person using VIT is bad. You made that up. You might wanna read my post again. Or at all.Just because a person is going the VIT path with the stats allocation and accessories, doesn't mean that person is 'bad'.

So what else is the VIT tank, if going STR is good ?

Still a good tank, because, you know, what I said is that a good tank is better off using STR than VIT right now. Seriously, did I need to explain what I clearly meant? Reading comprehension at its best.
Edit: Since I'm not sure if that's clear enough, the subject that's good is not the gearset, but the player, or person. The person is good, the gearset is what the good person is using. A good player, or person, is good while using VIT. The same good player, or person, is good while using STR. The person remains good, either while using STR, or VIT.
