I'm not sure how much of our stats come from our gear and how much come from our level+ traits.

Would wearing low level gear (including weapon) put you on par with the people you're trying to help?

Good question, but no it wouldn't. They are level 5, and I'm level 60... Even if I switch to a lower level job like MNK, I'm still higher level then they are, plus I like playing White Mage, etc... Putting on low level gear would reduce my power, but wouldn't allow them to get XP. And if I was playing say like a level 30, and they are level 5, they wouldn't be getting XP, etc...

That's why Fates are nice, but we have to keep joining as a party, and dropping party... It's a hassle, it would be great to say "Party level Sync = lowest level member"
