I've used it in FF14 but upgraded to an Orbweaver a bit ago.

My basic setup was movement to the thumbstick with left and right being set to strafe instead of turn so it feels a lot like a console game's movement. Jump was set to the big paddle under the thumbstick and the big button above the stick is autorun. The left-most column was set to have ESC at the top, ctrl below that, then alt and lastly the key for focus target at the bottom. The rest of the main keypad (12 keys) was macroed to shift+1,2,3, etc. so I had all my second hotbar stuff right there without having to use shift at all. Then when you hold ctrl or alt and then press any of those keys, ctrl or alt should override the shift+ and change it to ctrl/alt+1,2,3, etc. A thing to note is I was using this setup with a Razer Naga mouse so all the basic 1,2,3, etc keys were bound to that as well as tab-targetting (scroll right/left click) and I use mouse steering in tandem with the thumbstick movement. However with that combo and setup you should have at least 4 total hotbars as well as basic functionality for combat all at your fingertips.
