NEW player how on earth are you suppose to press 1-21 keys?

OK I'm plebby new to MMO and FF14 is my first MMO. So basically how on earth are you suppose to press 1-22 keys when you fight monsters? WTF? I can't get my head around it.... the most I can press is keybind 1-4 LOOOOOOL. So how am I suppose to think and press 1-22 keys? My brain can't take this anymore. Am i missing something here? Am I suppose to only use like 3 skills or something? I'm so confused, can someone help me out? I'll will be maining machinist, so surely I don't need to spam 1-22 keys to attack? I am dazzled by this. GO LOL AT ME IM NOOB COME AT ME!

im serious my friend. I am having trouble pressing all my number keys. It's not like im standing in 1 spot and move my eyes downwards to my keyboard and look for the numbers i need to run and attack etc.

At least you don't have 40-60 keys like in aion.

Edit: just counted and sorcerer at least had more than that.

Anyway it's simple. Keep killing stuff and you will eventually not even have to think while dpsing, allowing you to make efficiency decisions and mechanisms

As for keybinding here..you can do for instance 1-9, shift 1-9, ctrl 1-9 alt 1-9, f1-9 and so on.

I use mmo mouse with 12 buttons on the left.
After 20 minutes of play your thumb learns the position of each button. Use this for spells and abilities.
Then just click on potions and other things when needed. (Works on ps4 without any weard adapters)

Just get a Razer Naga mouse. It works wonders, but I don't use the buttons on the side as MNK. Practicing Dexterity in your fingers also makes you a better player.
