Reagan Pepper. 20 allied seals from hunt billmaster. Uncertain about alt acquisition methods.
Yes. You need to buy a Reagan Pepper. These can be bought for either 48,000 GC seals (bad) or 20 Allied seals (good)
Yes. You can buy a regan pepper from the supplier in the grand company headquarters.
I believe you can get a regan pepper... perhaps... :P
Not to be confused with the former USA president.
You can feed it to your chocobo when summoned (or in a stable I believe). You just right click "use" it like quest items (I'm not sure what button for ps3, ps4 users).
Note though: Even if you reset your skills you wont get another barding (you recive one once you've maxed out a skilltree) if you got one already - in order to get the other two bardings you need to increase the rank of your chocobo by feeding him thav onions
The last time I played was at the release of heaven ward and just came back a few days ago . I don't even know what a barding is lol
Bardings are clothes you can equip on your chocobo companion to make them look (slightly) more personalised. When you reach certain milestones in chocobo levelling you can unlock three special job-themed barding sets for your chocobo to wear (healer, which looks like a WHM, DPS, which looks like a DRG, and tank, which looks like a tin can - uh, I mean PLD).
IIRC you get one at rank 10, one at rank 15 and one at rank 20; in addition to the rank requirements you also have to have the maximum skills in the corresponding skill tree. So for example, when my chocobo hit rank 10 I used a pepper to change all of his skills to DPS and unlocked the DPS barding, then used another pepper to redistribute the points back the way they were. You can't cheat and set the skills to DPS, healer and tank in turn to unlock all bardings at once without fulfilling the rank requirement too.
