I hate shared sets, even though our armory chest is mega limited...it means that your glamour possibilities are less...because then if you put glamours on this new gear for example, all of the jobs that equip it have the exact same glamour >.<

First there was AF2 gear for each job then people complained about inventory space and not being able to use other classes because of not shared gear. Now they don't design gear for each job people complain about shared gear sometimes this forum.
Only needs to be one set of AF gear per expansion tbh
And I don't know how anyone can call the SE design department lazy, there's a crazy amount of armor sets already in the game

If they had made Law the AF2, and Esoterics the Doman gear, people wouldn't of complained.
Weekly cap, combined with forcing people to choose a job over a role, made it a bad design.
People never really appreciate the already vast options we have for glamour, sadly. We could've gotten worse.
Pretty much this comment.
I liked the "AF2" but the cap made it tedious to grind out.
I have come to believe that the reason folks resent the dungeons so much now is because the cap is too much.
It should be 500 or 750 a week.
(In other words...just about 1 piece of gear a week.)
But even then, inventory space + tome cap + sheer number of jobs = Stress.
It made things a chore.
Shared sets are a slight band-aid as they lower the grind time.
Honestly...if they could just assign glamour sets to each job/class independently then people would be fine with shared sets.
on the bright side it does save a lot of scarce commodity being able to gear up multiple jobs simultaneously.
I think it wouldn't bother me at all though if dragoon didn't get a unique set every single time for no apparent reason.
