Fabulous Fauna, what beasties do you like?

Any beasties that you find hard to kill? ones you find cute or so ugly they are still cute anyway?

I like the giant crabs and hope they come out as a mount some time.

Others I like are: Cactuar/Sabotender, Cockatrice (I like how intimidating they look over the cute/derpy look the 11 ones have...wish 11 did give us them as jugpets but the dick jokes would never end), Coblyn ( I don't know why but I find them oddly cute), Gigantoad, (if it was not for the spikes they could be another mount), Behemoth (how can you not like these beastly beasts? plus we get one as a mount!), Moles (cute & derpy...well before the spikes ones toss spikes at you), and bears.

As for beastmen: Goblins aka Gobbies, Amalj'aa, Moogles, Kobold, Sylph, Ixal, Tonberry, Qiqirn & Vanu Vanu.


And lastly please SE add Incubi! we have Succubi...I want an Incubus minion

The lack of agency I feel around monsters in the open world also relates to my lack of care for them as "Beasts"

Marlboros and Tonberries good but only due to their previous incarnations. As they stand all the monsters are muted punching bags with different sizes.

I always liked the megalocrabs because they look like they're grazing, and I have a soft spot for hermit crabs. I told my friend this once. He went "CRAB BATTLE" and started killing them. :c

I hate gigantoads with a passion. Just running around on my chocobo in Mor Dhona while leveling my elezen, minding my own business and "SLURP" and I'm pulled into its slimy face and about to get flattened under its big fat slimy belly. Dx Also any of the beastribes that dare put heavy on me while on chocoback. Whenever that happens; elusive jump+murder on sight.

I've always had a soft spot to kobolds, mostly because their death cry is such a cute little whistle. ;~;

tonberry o_________o! I also love sabotenders because of the way they walk. I like chinchillas b/c they attack like carbuncles. Leech King is one of my favorites, but my friends find it for me then kill it in front of me p__p.

We NEED a dark helmet minion! Just putting it out there.

ALDGOATS! I've been crazy for Aldgoats since the first time I laid eyes on the majestic beasts. Back in 1.0 they used to curiously follow you around a bit.. So adorable. <3

I have the hardest time killing them.. Their dying moo is just so heartbreaking..

I eagerly await the day the devs slap a saddle on one~
