I, and literally everyone else I know who has played this game and other MMO's think the exact opposite. I really don't mean to offend you here, but if you have perceived to view such a huge amount of players as toxic, maybe there's the chance that you're doing something wrong.
As for the topic at hand, I'm really tired of discussing this, so I'll keep it short. Players who don't try want to keep their heads stuck in the sand, and keep console players who wish to constantly improve by seeing their numbers from doing so. Jerks will be jerks, regardless of these tools, and the majority of arguments against giving players a metric are based on misinformation and fear-mongering.
Considering how many MMOs there are (literally hundreds), I highly doubt that you have played as many as you claimed for long enough to get a good idea of how players socialize in each and every one of them. Why even bother making that last point when it's obviously untrue?

I wouldn't say the most toxic, but it's certainly the first MMO I've seen where people try to defend intentional bad/lazy play in parties And it's also the first MMO I've played that has no way (sanctioned) way of quantifying ingame performance relative to other players. It's a bit more pronounced here when it happens because of the smaller party sizes, and the aforementioned lack of quantifying performance to backup any sort of claims or otherwise hold DDs accountable.

no thx , i actually like to concentrate on mechanics and rotations and not look at some stupid parser thing ^^
when i was playing everquest 2 , most of the people used a parser though , but mostly it was just a convenient thing to have coz of timers and aoe (mobs didnt have aoe indicators like we have now :P )
eq2 had a small community and people had some sort of manners , now that mmo are kinda a mass phenomenon a lot more people play it , so we have a lot more of jerks , who will abuse anyone and everything when u give them the ability / tools to do so ^^
also duty finder dosnt help at all with it :P
The two aren't mutually exclusive. Most people who run parsers also pay attention to mechanics and their rotations. On another note, if you do ignore mechanics to push a parse - you die and your DPS lacks.
Also, given that the request was to have it at the end of the dungeon, how is she going to be distracted by it during the dungeon.
There's obviously benefits to both sides, just like there are pitfalls. Yes, knowing how well you did is extremely helpful for bettering yourself. But that doesn't mean that the elitism and toxic players just magically won't abuse it or stop existing. Please don't act like it is never going to happen. Likewise, while having a better community with less issues is nice, getting bad players to realize they aren't doing that well is a good thing. Not everyone is going to abuse the system and it WILL be helpful. Both sides are completely valid and it all depends on what part of the game people value over other parts. Some would like to keep away from the toxic environment, even if it's only a few bad attitudes, that outweighs the bad players. Some people want better players, even if some still won't bother, that outweighs the bad attitudes. So in the end, it's up to which the developers prefer. There is no right or wrong here.
I find it funny because they have it implemented in PvP. They could just transfer it over to PvE with some needed changes of course. See the total damage people did in the whole dungeon run.
As long as I can turn that stuff off so I don't have to look at it after every instance fine idc.
Press on C to see your stats
But what there can be after a dungeon run is a rating list that rate the performance of the whole party.
Like how many chests were opened, how many enemies were killed, how many members died, how many said "Hi" at the start
Something like this:
