How does it foster Frustration? Well maybe pre-3.2, but if Stone, Sky, Sea is any decent of a DPS gauge then elitists really don't need to deal with randoms who are bad at their jobs ever again. If you get frustrated at people who are bad at their jobs, they don't do content where you're matched with randoms and instead do it with people you don't get frustrated with.
It fosters frustration in many facets, not the least of it being for people who want to see their numbers and cannot parse themselves. No, I do not think SSS addresses this adequately to not be frustrating. In fact, I feel this will increase frustration, but time will tell. How does it foster Frustration? As for your second point, I get frustrated when people are playing at poor levels, but my standards are not terribly high. That said, I do often run roulettes with my static and/or FC-mates, but that can't happen all the time. For example, right now a couple of my friends are on vacation and my other buddies weren't online - so I did all my roulettes solo. It happens sometimes, *shrug*. Despite all of that, running a roulette with friends is not some sort of secret that only a select few know, suggesting this is rather condescending.
Numbers are used all over the place in every industry, language, culture and region. They're incredibly useful for gauging performance, measuring success and/or setting goals. If I set a goal at work "Increase sales" then my boss will ask, "by how much?". It's important information, and to suggest that stuff is about "BIG NUMBERS" is merely stating the obvious and shows your ignorance to how the world operates.

Although there's no way to actually verify someone else's performance in SSS; you're reliant on them being honest when they say they're capable of clearing any given test.
Except SSS has no proof of clears outside of a screenshot, nor does it "gate" any content. On top of that I'm skeptical on if it;'s even a good measure of dps, because all it'll objectively say is if you killed the dummy in time or not.How does it foster Frustration?
