Why can't you see your stats when you finish dung/raids and trials?

Because they don't want to foster elitists who only care about numbers and discourage less-fortunate players.

But this can be done without fostering elitists... You can make the information personal... Like they do in PvP. (even though that's public)

Like, at the end of a Dungeon, they could show you your stats, how you did, and even give you a score/rank. This would be/could be tied to your role and how you did within the party.

The idea that we shouldn't do cool things because some people will be evil and abuse it, never sits well with me... I think for the most part, this would bring a lot of fun to the game.

Perhaps only show the full party/group info if you are a pre-formed party, otherwise, just show your personal stats.

Thanks for the laugh. Cause you know, being against parsers must automatically mean I want to foster bad play. (<--That was sarcasm btw) But people do have the right to play however they want and everyone needs to just get the hell over it. If they want to go into a dungeon and ice mage all day get the hell over it. You wanna pay their sub?! Then you can tell them how to play. People wanna use crafting gear in dungeons? Get the hell over it. Pay their sub and then you can complain. You went into a group with randoms. You knew there are people out there who play this way that you might get paired with, and you were given options to deal with such people. Vote kick / leave the duty / vote abandon. I'm really left wondering if this is truly as rampant a problem as people make it out to be because I almost NEVER run into the kinds of horror story situations people post about on these forums. In game parsers will do absolutely nothing to improve the game and only legalize the harassment of people with low numbers since they wouldn't be able to report people for calling them out anymore. You think that will fix the problem? If anything it will make the rift wider. I already see so many "Big number drunk" parser people with 3rd party illegal ones. I don't wanna think how bad it would get if SE actually supported parsing.

I would imagine it's a little harder to run into these problems when you're the one creating them, like the time you went into VA as a Lancer and spammed Chaos Thrust.

If you kicked them you should already be over it, they are gone.

I have gone into a level 50+ duty as a class a grand total of 4 times since I started playing and haven't destroyed the run in any of those cases. A couple of them I actually got comms cause people were apparently impressed that a conjurer could heal so well in Alexander so no I don't create this problem.

Not really fear mongering if people already harass others about their numbers. The only reason it's not as wide spread now is because they can be reported and banned for mentioning numbers / parsers in game. Not really a stretch of logic to assume it would get worse if parsers were legal.
