Cannot register Heavensward:

I'm at my wits end; and need help.

I have purchased:
FFXIV:ARR - through Greenman gaming.
FFXIV:ARR - through Steam.
FFXIV:HW - through Steam.
FFXIV:HW - through the enix store.

My character is on the FFXIV:ARR game, from Greenman.
I decided to purchase the expansion, as I'm quite enjoying the actual game.

But when I attempt to activate HW on the mogstation; the Steam HW key returns:
"Invalid Key."

After much reading, it turns out steam keys are only compatible with steam keys.
Alright, I thought to myself: I'll just get the bundle. I now have 2 ARR keys, and 1 HW key.

I cannot change my base game key. So my Steam copies are useless.
Steam won't issue a refund on the bundle; because it recorded the game time of me playing on my Greenman purchased copy of ARR and says I'm over their 2hr graceperiod.

That's a steam problem; I'm screwed out of that money.

So I went to the Enix store, and bought Heavensward on their 50% off promo going on now. Got my key, went to the mogstation to activate it...
"Invalid Key."

I've sent in a ticket through the proper help channels and gotten no response.
I just don't know what to do. I'm stuck.

All I wanted was to add HW to my account.
I'm now out of a lot of money; and have several worthless game keys.
Do I block the charge on my card; and just walk away from the game?

You can not combine steam and normal windows version. It goes only steam to steam and no steam to no steam.

Then why do neither the steam copy of HW or the Enix store copy of HW work?

Both are suosed to be windows. you need a new account by SE to register the new one. steam and the "normal" version can't coexist on the same account.

But if steam records the playtime from the greenman version it is a steam version or an other extra version who can't coexist with the other.

To clarify; by "new account" do you mean a new SE account? Or a new game account?
My main point of concern is not losing my character.

Well it would appear the issue is solved.

To anyone who might suffer this confusion in the future:

Greenman Gaming sells Windows copies of the game.
For whatever reason; attempting to purchase a windows copy of Heavensward off the Enix store was incompatible.
I've gotten word back from my help ticket that the issue was resolved.

Attempted to re-add the Heavensward key to my account; and it now works!

My thanks for attempting to help, Legion88; but I covered the steam / nonsteam issue in the original post.
This appears to have been an internal problem of some kind that I'm lucky enough for SE to have resolved.

I'm having exactly the same problem, and it's quite irritating.

This incompatibility should be made clear on the site when the game is being purchased.
