If I have hate on a mob on my BLM (which is quite a lot of the time) I tend to use Quelling strikes and Manawall which normal gives me time to either a) solo kill the mob or b) for the tank to pick up hate again.

Age of War
As someone who's played all three roles, I wholeheartedly agree with this.
When I'm a dps or healer, I take mobs to the tank. When I'm a tank, I really appreciate it when people bring me the adds they accidentally aggro. It just makes everyone's job easier and makes the run less prone to wipes.
As a new tank, this is my #1 complaint. For goodness sake, STAND STILL. I can't get a mob off of you if you keep moving it out of range!
Nothing is worse then playing a Paladin and chasing after a mob that the super eager Bard had tagged while you pull a group just because ur shield hit the target he/she decided to pop every cooldown under the sun, then proceed to run around in a large circle....do people not understand the mechanics of Provoke? Its not taunt from WoW!
On the note of fluid aura is actually a good tool to bounce the mob back to the tank since you should be behind(Behind the group not further in) them at a distance anyways.
When I get argo as a Dragoon I typically just activate foresight or keen flurry with Bloodbath and Off Tank till the tank gets the hate back. As a Summoner I'm not beyond swift casting to Titan if the tank doesn't regain aggro by the time my quelling strikes-Tri-Bind combo wears off.
I like to use Blank as my "Shotgun" Kill shot. So I typically use it when I can gurantee it's not coming back. I personally think it's kind of funny when I send it flying and the tank turns around like "Oh shi, wait it's dead never mind".
The title of this thread has made me want to revive my dominatrix glamour.
For reasons.
idk how many times I say "stop kiting" to a healer. Healing 101: get agro, take it TO the tank not further from.
If someone gets hate then starts kiting a mob and it is not part of the mechanics, I will purposefully ignore that mob. Same when I am the healer. If a dps gets hate and starts running around all crazy and making the tank chase them or make it increasingly difficult to get hate back, that dps is going to go down cause they are not getting heals either. When they die and start cussing and calling me a fail heal, I simply point out they should have took it to the tank. I see it as a well taught lesson.
What's especially funny is when a dps runs a mob to the healer instead of the tank so we can keep them topped off or vice versa.
On a secondary note, if the tank wants to tank only one mob and ignore the rest and let the dps do the tanking, the dps get my priority heals and sometimes that tank goes down, another lesson learned imo

But, on topic, this bothers me too—especially on larger pulls, where it can sometimes be difficult to tab around and find the one enemy that's not getting hit by your AoE.
