Why is so hard for newbies to learn how to raid?

The reason i dont try to raid savage, learn it(or even pug it) because i feel like it going to drive me insane over how badly i mess up mechanics. I consider myself to be a stupid person and not the greatest when it comes to hardest content in games. When Alexander savage came out, i recalled there was also a savage for Second Coil. (Turn 9 drove me insane) Now theres an even harder version? I avoided it like the plague. Im doing the same thing with Alexander. I would like to try it, since ive gotten better at tanking with DRK a bit, but i feel like ill just constantly hold my party back.

Please, don't think that way. New content like this is difficult for everyone. Even the hardest of hardcore raiders bang their heads against the wall until everything finally clicks. You should never let fear and doubt keep you from doing the things you enjoy. And if you don't enjoy it, that's okay, too.

With raiding especially it's important to find a group in which you click. When you're with people who you enjoy - and who enjoy being with you - you'll never be a burden.

I feel the same way you do. I'm also a bit of a perfectionist with zero tolerance for the douchebaggery of others. So I don't even bother.
