Why is so hard for newbies to learn how to raid?

I'm not saying NA/EU doesn't like to help people out, there are a couple of people who jumps in learning parties with a clear. But most players want to clear it because probably all their previous pf parties wasted too much time that made them block out inexperienced people

The funny part is, I've actually had my help turned down several times by learning parties or clear parties for Savage because I'd already cleared for the week with my static. Seriously? People that are just barely learning the content were turning down help from someone that has it on farm on account of loot they may or may not actually get to see before the next reset.

But there are some who avoid helping out like a plague because there are some (a lot) of newbies who just expected to be carried. In my server and I know someone who calls these as trap parties lol

Lol, I call them trap parties too. How serious or facetious I am about that depends on what I expected going in.

I understand where you are coming from but the reason I'm pushing so hard to learn AS1-4 is because i want to participate in endgame 3.2. Many of the statics forming for Midas want people with raid experience in alexander as a prerequisite, so how might a person like me, in my situation break this cycle? In order to get in a static for Midas I have to clear Alexander. In order to clear Alexander I have to have experience no bonus allowed. I don't have many friends on this server as is so how can i break this cycle? I read as much on my job and mechanics as possible and practice. I don't sneek into pf groups pretending to know the fight because i find that to be disrespectful to the recruitment leaders criteria. Maybe i wont ever get into end game raiding because of this barrier and should stick to crafting i dunno.

When Midas actually gets released, we'll most likely see a flurry of new statics forming. Many of them will be people just like you that lack Alexander Savage experience, largely because of how steep the learning curve on Alex actually was. A lot of people are on break from the game right now (or mostly inactive, playing other games). Just be patient and network!
