Berserk macro?

I absolutely love warrior (recently got it to lvl60) and I was wondering about a berserk macro. I tried one but I felt really annoying since Berserk's CD is quite short. I main a healer so I kinda like it when warriors have a macro for it. What do you guys think about such a macro? Is it necessary? Any way I can make it less annoying?

Completely unnecessary. At best it wastes a healer GCD to achieve its goal. I suggest filling the time with a brutal swing, mercy stroke and/or flash.

Makes me not want to cure their berserk status. Kinda like when you have a free program and its loaded with an add that keeps telling you to upgrade to the full version.

I understand if its a really tough raid and every swipe of the axe counts, but in the content that I'm doing, I don't think it contributes much.

Some attack still work while pacified ( auto attacks, flash, mercy stroke and your defensive cooldowns like Vengeance and Foresight) so it isn't like a warrior totally helpless for that brief window.

The only time I'd make a berserk macro is if they make the Bard's prevent-a-debuff ability instant cast.

Then it'd just be a single notice as I push berserk, asking any bards to please cast it if they can within the next 20 seconds.

Otherwise it's a big waste of everyone's time.

Alright, thanks. That's what I thought. I don't mind them much as a healer, because it lets me know that I can cleanse it if it fits in my "rotation" but I felt annoying using one as a warrior. That clears it up.

Yep. I've seen some really annoying ones too. And it can be used a lot in a 20-30 minute dungeon. If you do decide to use one, don't use a <se.> or a count down. Just a simple "using berserk, pacification incoming" at most

I'm one of the few healers that appreciates a berserk macro with a sound indicating 5 or so seconds until pacification. By macroing an oGCD ability, the WAR is sacrificing some DPS at the time of using Berserk with the thought that Pacification getting cleansed instantly will more than make up for that sacrifice. If I'm healing and I have a notification a few seconds prior to Pacification, then 99% of the time I can plan accordingly and fit an Esuna in.

it's at the point where i have my own macro saying "I DON'T CARE <se.1>".

I don't think I've ever expected a esuna/leeches for pacification. It's not worth annoying other people about.
