3.2 Tome Gear

... Will be primal based in appearance! Since we just had class specific gear released I'm sure these new gears will be tied to roles instead.

I am hoping healers get Shiva-themed gear!! Bismark or Garuda would also be acceptable options. I wouldn't mind having something unexpected, though, like Mog or Ramuh.

What are you guys hoping for?!

I feel like Caster DPS will get Ramuh, Ninja will get Garuda, Bow/Gun will get Bismarck, Dragoon will get Leviathan, Tanks will get Titan, Monks will get Ifrit and Healers will get Shiva. Am i missing anything? If so then the last one will get Ravana.

Oh Lawd, I hope we go back to 'trinity' gear because my armoury isn't going to like yet another job based set. I'm so glad I only have ACN (therefore SCH & SMN) as lvl60 so far! What with the individual DoL sets & DoH sets it is getting bloated beyond belief.

Looks like they revealed that Monk/Striking gets Ifrit and Ninja/Scouting gets Leviathan.

Seems likely that Fending gear would be Titan or Ravana based.

Aiming feels like it would mesh well with a Garuda or Bismark theme.

Shiva would be amazing heals gear... Hoping it would be more blue-based as we already have enough white gear, though!

Knowing Squeenix and their love for frills and upside down sacks, we're going to get Ramuh themed gear. With a beard as the headpiece.

Though, being more serious, Ramuh IS the most gentle out of the Primals we've seen. That said, Shiva does have some grace which would go well for a healer, too, but considering her choice of weapons, it might seem that she'll favour other roles.

Plus WHM staff from Ramuh is an exact copy of the one he wields. That, plus his nature of being just and fair, leads me to believe he would better suit healer gear.

Shiva or Ramuh could make a really nice healing set but I think I'm partial to Shiva if only because I feel like if they go Ramuh for healer we'll end up with another frilly, full length robe with glowy bits. Personally with Shiva I think there is a bit more room to have something in elegant colors that looks battle ready instead of...the way its been looking for way too long now.
