Achievements.

I don't know if I'm alone in this or if anyone has said something about this before but achievements feel really dumb to me right now.
What I mean by that is, you get an achievement for doing things that don't need any type of effort and that makes the worth of them almost 0 to me.
You get an achievement for clearing the EX primals and Coil unsync... is that really something worthy of an achievement?
I haven't cleared my last two primals yet but I want to pony farm with some people I met, so I'll get the achievement for that and that bothers me.
If I didn't get it for unsync I would go back and get it even though I've already done it unsync for farming, but like this? What's the point of achievements right now?
You could say it's the same for pony farming, but I would have to disagree since I have farmed for hours to get the last person in my party one too and that still takes effort.
For an achievement you do it once and have a 100% chance of getting it.

But, this is only my view of things. Do other people mind stuff like that?

A lot if wrong with achievements.....the most of which being that most are not 'achievements' but 'milestones'. Nothing interesting about them at all.

If you want to earn the achievement you can always opt to run a sync'd run for your initial kill? I'd prefer there only be achievements for sync'd kills and not simply out leveling the content - but it is what is...... which is nothing more than an terrible attempt to replicate something with the least amount of effort.

That's what I did for my other clears, but sadly I don't think everyone will wait for me to clear first to start farming since finding a group to clear synced with is hard and takes time.

The achievements you're talking about are for outdated content. I really don't see what's so bad about getting the achievement for doing an unsynced clear. The alternative is making it an enormous chore for newer people to collect the old achievements.

Yeah especially we are asking if people do not specify UNSYNC... I sometimes join unsync because I miss a fight or just to help fill a party (the "I NEEDS BONUS" train is over for big parts)... I someone answers sync he gets my join ;p

About the achievements... well they were worth someothing synced they just don't lock out people that now do it unsync else e.g. You would miss out on a title and minion for Coils alone.
Unsync is for 2 purposes: one is catchup the other is to challenge yourself in low man groups/solo.

The poins you're making are good, I didn't think about catching up and soloing stuff. I guess it depends on the individual person to give the achievement meaning. I'll just try to do my clears synced while other people do it the way they want.
