Combat bogged down?

I am wondering if this is a universal issue or something i can hopefully fix.

Combat and the majority of ingame menus are always slow.
If i', fighting a mob and they use some sort of aoe if i don't move the second it starts casting i get hit without fail, half the time if i had an ability Qd up it will go off after i have ran away. I also get the xp/drops text long before the mob dies or the killing blow goes off.

As for menus the biggest one o truly notice is when trying to manage my retainer as it takes about 5 seocnds per item to: click about 3 times or wait 2 seconds before it responds to a click, and then waiting for it to deposit and update the retainer's list.

It's something we'll see fixed when the 2.0 version is getting released. Honestly doubt there is going to be any major changes in the amount of lag until then

Is it lag? I'm able to ping my server and only see 240~ ms. I wouldn't think it would be lag
