The most important ability of a mentor is to be able to deal with other people, which is hard to measure. That aside, the most important knowledge will be that of the first few levels and the most basic game mechanics, because that's what most mentees will have trouble with. Again, hard to measure.

The next benefit of mentors is to gain social connections and entry into LS/FCs more easily as newbie. A reflection of this is nowhere to be seen in the requirements at all (yet).

I find the current requirements quite misplaced, but I constantly snicker at what some people here think mentors will actually be doing. Goes completely against my experience with introducing friends to games.
