UM, Are any of you in this topic aware of the simple fact that SE has in fact confirmed that they will be bringing personal apartments to the housing areas through what in Japan are called Mansions, and elsewhere are more properly known as condominiums, or perhaps apartments. In essence each 'mansion' will house up to 512 player apartments they also indicate they are working on gardening furnishings and some kind of communal chocobo stable.

As I remember it this new form of housing will be a central building in the ward that players can enter their apartment through. Free Companies can have 512 members each with a personal chamber. This new concept is a communal housing building that houses 512 personal apartments for players. I would guess that this new concept is more or less a special implementation of the FC functionality to allow players who 'join' the mansion to purchase their apartment, and participate in gardening and chocobo raising in ways similar to those that are available within a Free Company. Of course there is no actual Free Company in this case, just a place holder for the mansion access and Personal Apartments.

Either way, I'm more or less certain this has been announced in a previous Live Letter.

Putting existing plots on the MogStation would be a disaster and very unfair to players who do not currently have a home since they would now be expected to pay extra $$ instead of in-game currency. OP, this is a poor idea that no one wants (there that's more polite than my original comment).
