Just noticed the new hairstyles look like the hairstyles of a few Class Zero members from Final Fantasy Type-0. I guess that's the closest we'll get to a crossover with that game, unless its just a coincidence.

I checked again but it still looked like the Allagan gear was still worn by the original jobs (and remember MNK and NIN shared the Allagan/High Allagan gear)

It really looks like a solo instance.

Could be a test to see if we are capable on fighting to death a friend on the case is strictly necesary?

Very possible, my fiance was saying she could see Ilberd disguising himself in Raubahn's armor to try to breed dissent or something, but that seems a bit lazy
