    Will we ever see a revamp of Praetorium?

    There's always the ever present issue of mid-dungeon cutscenes, which the Keeper of the Lake, Aery, and Aetherochemical Research Facility largely corrected. More pressingly though, speed-running is still an issue. Despite the fact EXP was added to level 50 dungeons, for whatever reason the standard procedure is to sac pull the section before the second teleporter. Which is totally asinine and frankly seems like a scrub behavior. And sometimes, if you still have aggro from them, they can attack you though the walls at the Magitek Reaper.

    It would be great if they could revamp the dungeons to address the issues, or at least make it impossible to skip all the enemies. There's no delicate way to put this, but speedrunners are bad players, like ice mages or tanks not using defensive cooldowns.

    It's not bad playing...unless someone wants to watch the cutscenes, then that's a whole different thing.
    But speedrunning inherently isn't bad. Those enemies give pittance EXP. If I'm in a run and there's only old players, I definitely want a speedrun.

    I agree with him. Now that there's experience to be gained skipping entire groups of enemies (which literally take less than a minute to slay) means lost experience that will stack up to considerable levels over time. What people think is convenient isn't necessarily efficient. There's also plenty of people out there - myself included - who enjoy running dungeons/raids without skipping enemies.

    I have no problem with people not wanting to multi-pull. But I think calling either side "bad players" is rather narrow minded :P
    Most people aren't doing praetorium for the experience. Generally people are doing it for the end reward of tomestones.

    My main concern with speedrunning Cast and Prae is the experience for new players. It's a pivotal part of the story and people have been brought to tears that they can't experience it the way it was originally intended. I stick by my suggestion that Main Scenario roulette should be removed and those two duties altered to be solo play with NPC companions (including a healer) so new players can take their time watching all the scenes and playing all the battles solo. You can still enjoy fighting Ultima with a party in the Ultima's Bane fight, which can be added to trials roulette and adjusted so colliding energy balls don't outright wipe the group.
