Anyone else considering changing jobs in 3.2?

I have been a monk since I started playing around July with a warrior alt a few months before they added the weekly reward for completing the towers. Over the past few weeks I have leveled a machinist and quite enjoy it, but due to having the relic on my monk and the ability to solo almost anything on my warrior I am reluctant to start putting my tomes toward it when the patch comes out.

I'm staying Drk just finished my relic weapon for it today and I got 1 last week of doing As1 in hopes I get the VIT neck if not oh well it's the last thing on my bucket list. As for classes i'll probably lvl blm and gear up my mch/bard/smn/nin through esoteric tomes, other than that though I can't wait for the tanking changes in 3.2!

Nope my main will always be the Scholar. I have many classes at 60 but enjoy the Scholar the most.

NIN will remain my main. My primary alt-jobs, however, are up for potential re-election. While I enjoy DRK's gameplay style, I prefer the aesthetics of PLD, and I'm hoping for some changes there that will make the job more fun for me. I'm in a similar boat with BLM—I'd prefer to play MCH, but I'm not a fan of how it works right now, so 3.2 could potentially make me play it more seriously.

I'm in the same boat regarding DRK/PLD as well. Out of curiosity/semi-boredom I decided to level up PLD to 60, having never really liked it in ARR and now I've leaned more towards it over DRK these days. Almost a shame I went and grinded the i200 relic for DRK, because if circumstances were different I'd have done it for PLD instead (no interest in going through another crystal grind either, not even to level other jobs).

Anyways, since I went from SMN in 2.x to SCH pre 3.1 I have no interest in changing Jobs as it stands.

Anyway if you want to switch your main, do it. If you like a certain job more then don't feel bad about starting over.

Probably not, I am juggling DRK and AST. Was hoping picking the DRK relic would give me a kick to start Tanking for raids but even Alex 1 is getting me nervous to jump in as a tank. xD

I have my WHM and my PLD on 60 though and I'm really pumped for the changes in 3.2 for Paladin and tanking in general.

Ugh, I am in a predicament.

I recently had a TON of irl friends join the game (like 12) and they wanna raid. And at least three of them picked up healers and two want to main SCH, which is my main. And I'm already at 60 like...well, I don't have anything to do while they level up besides level up something else.

BUT I can't decide what. I basically don't care what I play as long as I'm playing with friends but I need to pick something to fill the hole in the comp. We're lacking in DPS but I can't get anyone who's playing DPS to commit to a specific job they're all still like experimenting.

We have one committed BRD and she's on frequently enough I don't feel like we'll need a backup support range. And I have the SMN leveled already if nobody wants to cast, so I could just learn how to play it. SO I think the most effective thing to do would be to level a Melee DPS.

BUT I CAN'T PICK. Ninja is fun to play and brings a lot of utility. DRG also utility and best glams but lots of people are interested in it and I'm sure someone else will settle on it. MNK right now is getting little to no love from the group, but it's probably the one I'm attracted to least. It also doesn't synergize with a static very well.
