I've just seen some of the Alex Midas Screenshots and I have to say, that glass eye, that mutated super-gobbie and the haircut...
...

Not sure what the storyline will be but that is all i'm seeing right now

Finally!
Ever since Heavensward CE came with Baron equipment and we had a raid in which we go in Alexander, I've been calling Alexander a Giant of Babil reference and expecting Final Fantasy IV references within. Instead we got a Final Fantasy V boss out of no where...
Bring on the Four Fiends in 3.4 please!
(You know... In another thread I said our Cid should take some lessons from IVs Cid, referencing IVs sealing the underground area... Didn't that happen shortly after the encounter with Dr Lugae? Cid is even involved in the Alexander storyline....)

Umm... When he basically blows himself up you mean? Yeah that's right after really... You go back to baron and get to eblan cave for the last crystal. I thought Lugae, but I didn't think that far lol. Nice thanks!
I think right now they're more on a FFVI kick. Alexander was first introduced in that game, plus Sephirot was one of the goddess statues in FFVI as well, and we can pretty easy say that we'll be getting the other two goddesses from VI in the upcoming patches. Four fiends would be awesome, but probably not till later in the game. Finally!

Check out the original Amano design for the Giant of Babil:I think right now they're more on a FFVI kick. Alexander is widely believed to be based on the Giant and the Proto-Babil (a smaller prototype version of the giant) superboss from the FF4(3DS) remake uses Divine Judgement (Alexander's traditional summon attack). The idea that this mad scientist goblin is a Dr. Lugae reference isn't far fetched.

If he doesn't do Reverse Gas, I'll riot.
That's All I see now xD nice catch!
I don't know, I only see that they modified XI's bugbear model and can't help but think how much cuter they used to be.
