Help for make flying

I got aether currents and black chocobo. It's locked flying.

But, Coerthas Western Highlands place really high mountain.
I need make sightseeing log with /lookout. I don't get climb up mountain...Blocked me

I try find youtube. But, person had alreply unflying and show where...So failed.
I'm still ground mount.

How I get easy climb up mountains....

From memory you need to have flying unlocked to do a lot of the sightseeing and then you can fly straight to them.

However, some of the siteseeing places you can't land on and have to either land below or above them and run up/drop down onto them (I remember there being one in Coerthas Western where you have to run up a chain on a bridge because you can't fly there directly)

If I understand what you're asking, yes you need to collect all the aether currents in the zone to unlock flying. This includes both ones you can find with your compass, plus ones from sidequests in the area.

Ah I can understand the confusion here. The sightseeing logs aren't needed for flying, it's flying that's needed for the sightseeing logs.
Check out this topic on Aether Current Locations for some help finding them all. People have documented the sidequests you need to do as well.

I believe they have patched the quests so that the currents are all main story quests now and not from sidequests anymore - at least that's how I recall the patch notes.

Some other currents are from Sidequests, but they are on the first quest instead of withing the chain that follows. Good luck gathering them, enjoy flying!

Ah I can understand the confusion here. The sightseeing logs aren't needed for flying, it's flying that's needed for the sightseeing logs.
Check out this topic on Aether Current Locations for some help finding them all. People have documented the sidequests you need to do as well.

Got all, then unlock flying!
