Anyone else considering changing jobs in 3.2?

I have mained BLM all through 2.0 to 2.4, around then I was convinced to being maining SMN, luckily, I had shared caster gear between the two otherwise it would have been a hot mess in 2.0->2.2 with the job-specific gear. I switched back to BLM shortly before 2.5 came out. I decided before Heavensward came out that I would main MCH, so I've mained MCH all the way up to 3.15, at this point, my raid was reforming, we lost our WHM, MNK, and multiple DRGs. So once we were in this dump of a mess, we decided to reform for 3.2 and I thought this was a good opportunity to switch mains, my best classes were MCH, MNK and either SCH or WHM, I preferred WHM. So I said I'd main MNK, but decided against it because there aren't many good MCHs/BRDs, so then after that I decided WHM and then again went back against it for the same reason, then a THIRD time, I went against it to switch to SCH (as our old SCH decided to go WHM this time round), so I decided to start gearing it ASAP so I don't go against my word. So now that we are a full static group, we've gone and done A1S/A2S this past weekend with no hiccups and we're a good team.

Never. Not because I only have one Job per character regardless, but simply because I'd never let some new overhaul or relative damage discrepancy deter me from the class I have learned to enjoy for my each and every character - especially my main.

As for MCH, I think you should totally go after it if you want to--especially since they're making some upgrades to that class with 3.2, now seems like a great time to be jumping on board.

Oh definitely. I need to work on gearing it up, and no matter what I love both classes

I'm in the same boat regarding DRK/PLD as well. Out of curiosity/semi-boredom I decided to level up PLD to 60, having never really liked it in ARR and now I've leaned more towards it over DRK these days. Almost a shame I went and grinded the i200 relic for DRK, because if circumstances were different I'd have done it for PLD instead (no interest in going through another crystal grind either, not even to level other jobs).

Anyways, since I went from SMN in 2.x to SCH pre 3.1 I have no interest in changing Jobs as it stands.

I switched for the new 3.2 raid. I have been a healer since bcob (whm in all but scob which I mained sch). I started running smn for the past month in Gordias savage and I'm having so much fun. The current raid tier really burned me out on healing. So it's a welcome change becoming a dps xD

I swap classes quite often and will probably continue to do so, honestly. Drk has been my main focus though, so I'll mostly keep gearing that up with the weekly tomes while gearing the others with Eso now

Went from drg to blm and jesus the difficulty in rotation is extreme. Blackmage is easy damage. Requires a ton less focus, so much easier.

Considering switching just cause of that. I can only see drg getting worse with dps skill bloat. We have way too many damage combos and positionals, even locked animations prohibiting dodging at times.

On the fence, i like drg but the struggle is real.

Will probably do stuff first time as SCH, since I'm most comfortable as one. But I'll probably do runs on AST, DRK, DRG or MCH, depending on what's needed.

I never play summoner and I still need practise with black mage's rotation before I dare go fumbling on DF. White mage... Well, sure, it's more fun now than it was 5 levels ago, but I still prefer the other two healers. Still need to level the rest, but I've been having too much fun playing my alt dragoon elezen to finish the rest to 60.

Always and forever a SCH!

No plans on changing, unless a dancer class or some mage class with mind-blowing visuals comes out. And even then, I'm super picky. :P
