It has been said, multiple times that you do not require Midas Story to enter Midas Savage, you only had to have completed Gordias Story. This is further echoed by the recent update on the Lodestone.

Except it is a translation error that appears only on the English lodestone. The other 3 versions (JP, DE, FR) announce different prerequisite quests for Normal and Savage.

The Normal prerequisite quest appears to be the same across all four languages: "Enigma"/"Le trésor de Roundrox"/„Ein hübsches Luftbild“ /「彼女のたからもの」 (the non-English versions Google translate as "The Treasure of Roundrox", "A Pretty Aerial View", and "Her treasure" respectively).

The English patch notes list that same quest ("Enigma") as the requirement for both Midas and Midas: Savage, which is clearly incorrect, since that's the quest that involves clearing Gordias. The requirement for Savage should likely list the quest that involves clearing Midas, identified in the other languages as "Une question de temps"/„Alles zu meiner Zeit“/「彼女がいない世界」 (Google translated as "A Matter of Time", "Everything in My Time", "The world that she is not" respectively).
