Please help i cant create an account

So my friend just downloaded the game and he was excited then he got to the screen asking "A Square Enix Account is required to play...Do you possess a Square Enix Account"
It should give him two options
1. "I currently posses a SE account"
2. "I currently do NOT possess a SE account"
The sencond option isnt there so can anyone help me? what should he do? should he create a new psn id or should he delete and reinstall the game?

That page will let you make a Square Enix account; you don't technically have to use the link during first-time launcher setup.

It will ask you once you click on the I have an account and then will ask you to link.

That "Do you possess a Square Enix Account" question covers both. If the answer is "Yes" then it will ask for your friend's SE account login info. If the answer is "No" then it will guide him through creating one. Either way it ends with linking his PSN account to the SE account that was either identified or created.

Neither. Keep it with his regular PSN id. Just make an SE account to link to it.

That web link EveK mentioned is one possible way, but not needed. It's simpler to just create the SE account right from the PS3/PS4 setup where he was at. (The web link is primarily for PC players.)

Yes but that was the problem the option to choose "I currently do NOT possess a SE account" just wasnt there so he couldnt create a new account, the button just isnt there the only option he can choose is "I currently posses a SE account" but he doesnt posses a square enix account so its impossible. So this is probably a bug i m assuming but thnx all i will tell him to create an account the PC way.

Weird. When I started, I created my SE account right there from the PS3 setup for the game. It let me answer either yes or no to that "do you already have an account" question. They must have taken that out at some point, though I'm not sure why they would.

Well, in that case, I guess you use the web link and create an account like you would if it were for the PC copy of the game, but then supply that account info during the PS3/PS4 setup.
