Thread: Two questions video card on 2.0 and party system

I was wondering will I need need video card on my laptop for FFXIV v2.0 because my current is NVIDA GeForce GT 435M - Memory 4062?

Also I want to know if SE will fix party system and make it like ffxi where I would be invited to join exp party? I honestly don't like the current one it's complected and I have never gotten invited besides exping with other players is fun and leveling up fast, please don't say do levs im just asking about exp parties

1) That wasn't really a question, but I'll assume you meant, "Will I need a new video card?" If you can play FFXIV now, you'll be able to run it later. That's the only concrete thing we really know - that the new engine is designed to scale better with hardware, lowering the entry point while also letting faster computers do a little more. Cheaper hardware should be able to run XIV, and more expensive hardware will gain more of a benefit visually. Exactly how much the requirement is decreasing is unknown, and how much better hardware will be harnessed is also unknown.

Im supprised that card can run ffxiv

I can only hope they fix the issues of FFXIV running cards at 90c thats almost to the point where it would melt your card. Almost afraid my 570 gtx will burn up at that temp.
