Race Change Dilemma

Male Roe has the best /psych emote in the game. Plus they hold their Axes and Lances like gangsters tryin bring down a mountain. My next character will be Male Roe for sure.

As a roe your already a rarity, but i can understand the size being a bit difficult for some people

is it strictly height or also the overall bara bulk.

a male au ra wouldnt solve the height much but would tone down the bulk, but the running animation is suffering, also what Kaitlan said on them.

highlander is a decent option if you like being noticably taller and bulkier but not to roe levels; however highlanders suffer from poor face options and lack of eyebrows.

Elezen is like a scaleless au ra without a run as bad.

otherwise your borked into midlander which which is either baby face, or RMT

build an alt then: sprint around, jump, change your poses, emote emote emote, but most importantly go outside your town, close your eyes, turn up your volume a bit and go attack lady bugs or whatever for 5-10 minutes. At some point you are going to grind fates or dungeons, and if that attack voice is nails on a chalk board to your ears, return to step 1.

I have likes and dislikes on all of my alts. The Au Ra running/jumping bugs me, my manRoe is borderline a knuckle dragging neanderthal, and my main's voice (or grunts) during attacks has me close to using a fantasia just to change the voice alone.

You won't really know until you mess with the character in game for a bit.

If you don't like being tall, male Au Ra probably is not the best choice. They're way thinner than Roes though.

Best advice is to create a char and level it 3-4 levels. Should take you about 15mins. Well worth the time investment since you'll look at your character a lot..
