hmmm not a fan of this idea.. theres alot of trolls/negative nancies in ff14 community so will just give negative feedback because they can lol
Read a post in this thread but Idk where people are getting the idea of getting a pop up after every activity. As the title of the thread said "At the end of every content patch" meaning in 2 weeks before the next content patch. You will be able to go take survey at the mog box or grand company place.
It needs to be in game at not at launcher because as I said before there is a lot of players who just want to rush and log on just to afk or chat with friends while doing other things in game.

It's a suggestion that got mentioned in the first reply in the thread.Read a post in this thread but Idk where people are getting the idea of getting a pop up after every activity. Over looked lol.

In-game surveys are for alpha and beta testing, and only a handful of developers do that. FFXIV is released. The only feedback the dev team will take is if it is posted on the forums. That is what the forums are used for. Feedback. If you have concerns or want to give the developmental team ideas or suggestions, that is what the forums are for.

You say that like it's an absolutely truth of the universe. The forums have lots of uses besides pure feedback (a place where the community can discuss things for example. Do you think the lore forums are there for feedback?) and feedback can come from sources other than the forums (the in game suggestion box and talking to/watching fans at fan festival). Just because ongoing surveys aren't frequently used in MMOs doesn't mean they don't have merit.In-game surveys are for alpha and beta testing, and only a handful of developers do that. After all, what purpose do they serve in alpha/beta? Wouldn't it serve that same purpose for a released MMO?
A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.
As stated earlier most players don't use the forums.
Exactly what's going to happen to any survey, be it ingame or out lol. It doesn't matter what format or source they take opinions from. The reason? You have people who care, people who don't care, and people looking to just F around. Among those lots, you also have people who make mistakes. You have people who will change their opinion (be it swayed or otherwise) the very next minute. Location of survey matters no more than any other, in this case.
You still will get more feed back then you would the forums regardless .
