Long robes and the curse

There I was, finally got my AST to lvl 60. The gear was okay, but it didn't matter to me, because there it was. My one and only Glamor chest piece - Crescent Moon Gown.
I loved it and I still hold it dear.
When I first glamored it, it was perfect. There was nothing wrong with it. NOTHING.

So, yesterday, I logged in and guess what?
My oh so perfect robe suddenly clips with the boots. No matter if I walk or run, they get through the robe and smile at me. It worked fine and without clipping for a couple of days and now it really, really is sooo damn irritating!!

So, I just wonder. What is it with SE and robes? It seems like they don't like robes.

I just want to know, why? ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

My big robe curse is in the arboretum, after the 2nd boss you drop down into the sub levels and as I fall the robe flies up over my head exposing my underwear for all to see

I have those reindeer boots glamored and when I did the robe last week, they couldn't be seen while walking/running. And I'm sure of it because I was so damn fascinated & happy, that there was no clipping. At all. <- I literally was the happiest person that day ._.
That's why I'm confused, that suddenly they would appear through my robe a couple of days later :/

Using some other boot glamor doesn't really work, the damn still clips *sigh*
Seems like I have to give up my perfect glamor dream :c

Weather effects do alter cloth physics to some degree, so it's possible you were in an area with rain or high winds when you saw the clipping. It also depends on things like whether you have your weapon drawn and the angle and type of terrain you're on. AST also has a unique Sprint animation with a weapon drawn, which might cause clipping when you otherwise wouldn't see it. I don't have the gown myself so I can't look to see if it clips at all for me or I would try out a few different things to pinpoint what might be causing it.

I used to notice this kind of thing a lot with the old CT tank body (Armor of Light or whatever it was called). It had noticeable clipping issues with the sabatons from the same set, but it didn't always clip.

I have noticed this especially when it's windy. Sometimes some robes or long skirts clip horribly and other times they don't. I have seen clipping so bad where the robe blows and my lower legs show through it. It's very annoying.

Actually didn't they specifically change clothing on female Roes because their thighs would clip through certain robes and skirts while standing still?

Or did they just leave that issue? >_>

Had my knees clip through the Spring Skirt in the kneeing /sit-position.
But genereally if the clipping is new I guess its due to the general buggyness of the game atm. We didn't have any maintanance in the last month iirc and I see A LOT BUGS.

You'd think, but they actually change little things with gear for no real reason and with no announcement.

The biggest example I can think of off the top of my head is the "Serpentskin halfgloves of crafting". Rings would show with these gloves before 3.1, but after 3.1 rings went invisible. I was actually kinda disappointed by it, as they were cool gloves and I like having my wedding ring glamour showing..
