If you need melded the "Wildling's Cesti" and want to do that yourself, you should level up your leatherworker.

You can request a meld from another player.

Or get the materia and carbonized matter you need and use the request meld feature, while hanging out near the market boards.

    This... Is important to remember
Melding is not about a level
It's also a class lock skill

    But hopefuly
3.2 will allow US to meld materia without changing class now
(But the class level requirement will remain)

Well leves were not meant to be a source to level from say 10-50 as an example, everyone would just do so, lol
I usually only use when i need to push a few levels in a pinch.
Also there is a beast tribe which has specific quests for crafting (Ixal), i had used those to help get all my crafters to 50 before HW

Just to point it out, you actually need 2 Savage Aim III melded for the quest, not savage might as seen in the screen you provided..

    Levemate's guests are super faster.
Pence was point out that you can request other crafter to meld the item for you or just buy that item with materias melded on it from market board, it's faster.

But if you still want to level up your class and meld it yourself, there's nothing I can say here with that attitude.

It's also worth noting that he does not have to do the level 50 relic, to do the level 60 one. I think there is a fair amount of misunderstanding going on here.

What is your goal OP? Do you want a level 50 relic for glamour? Or do you think you need it for the level 60 one?

I'm kind of glad there is a limit
Otherwise it would be easy for almost everyone to be 50 for all crafting class in like... One day

It take more or less 10 levequest for 5 level
So 100 = 2 class lv50 in one hour top...

There are several ways of getting crafting XP fast in terms of a per-item or per-quest measurement, but the faster ones have limits on how many you can do in a day. In general, the more XP you get at once, the less often you can do it:
    • GC Supply missions - lots of XP per item (especially if it's HQ), but only one per class (8 total) per day
    • Ixal beast tribe quests - lots of XP per quest, but can only do 12 per day (whichever DoH class you wish)
    • Leves - fairly good XP per item (especially if it's HQ), but limited by your number of Leve allowances
    • grinding items - slower XP, but unlimited. (also has the advantage you end up with the items to use or sell, so can make some gil along the way)
The fastest way to level up crafting would be to combine all of them, starting with Supply missions and Ixal quests, then leves, then additional grinding if you want more done after reaching your limits on the other three.

But as others have pointed out, what you need for the relic quest is to have the item melded. Lots of players do that quest without leveling crafting themselves, just by asking someone else to meld it for them. You'd need to be a level 50 Leatherworker to meld a Wildling's Cesti, or you need to get someone who is to do it for you.

If you supply the materials (two Savage Aim Materia III, two carbonized matter of grade 3 or better, and the Cesti itself), and ask around in an area where crafters gather (like around the marketboard/merchant area of any of the main cities), someone is bound to offer to meld it, generally free of charge. (Getting the right materia, on the other hand, may be expensive if you haven't gotten lucky from converting your own old equipment, but you'll need that regardless of whether you're doing the melding or someone else is.)
