In my opinion, the way things are now with exp chain parties, there is little point for a party to undertake guildleves. The experience points gained from party and link bonuses pales in comparison to exp chain party exp rates. If you can find 8 people for a party, it would be puzzling to me why you would want to do guildleves and not exp chain party.

I feel that guildleves should just be completely revamped for solo play only. Make it impossible to do in a party, like company leves are now. This will allow you to rebalance the guildleve mobs strength towards solo play without also having to worry about party balancing issues. Make the mobs easy enough to kill so that you can complete the leve fairly quickly. I should be able to do several leves in an hour or so.

By limiting guildleves to solo players, you create an isolated alternative to exp chain parties that allows the player to quickly find something to fight at any level. Because guildleves are instanced you can alter the strength of those mobs without effecting the fundamental systems that have been put in place elsewhere.

If you do this, players can decide when they log on each day "Ok how much time do I have to play?" If they have a lot of time they can seek out an exp chain party. If they don't have much time, they can head to adventurer's guild, pick up a few leves, and get them done quickly for some easy solo exp. If we're talking about leaving the exp rewards for guildleves alone (which I think is the right choice), the exp won't be as good as a party, but as long as the leves are fast and easy to complete, you should still walk away feeling pretty satisfied with your progress.
