Aurum Spectrum is looking for members, new and experienced, to join it's ranks!

We are a casual free company looking to expand and find people that want to focus on the quality of our members rather than the quantity that we have in the guild. This free company could be tagged as soft-core; and what that means is that we enjoy playing at a leisurely pace but we can, and do, get down to business when our members need to gear up to enter certain instances such as raids, or hard-mode dungeons. This free company offers weekly promotions, events, a means of leveling your chocobo, experience bonuses through actions since we are a max rank company, a cool mansion to hang about, and much more!

The group is pretty small, consisting of about 5 to 7 active players while the rest are away for reasons outside of the game. We look for members who want to progress, and make great experiences and friends. Aurum is also looking for players that would want to apply for being an officer, raid leader, recruiter, or otherwise. We are always looking for more help.

On a side note, I also run a linkshell for smaller free company leaders, and their officers. This is a way of keeping in touch, and making sure everyone is doing well. The many purposes of this linkshell are to branch out if you need help filling in a position for a raid, dungeon, or if you need some material, or items or whatever. The possibilities are endless.

Aurum Spectrum is always looking for more players to add to our group! A good amount of the members have reached Heavensward content, and are beginning their journey to the new maximum level!

Our end-gamers have been racking up experience in Alexander (Normal), and have been gearing up to create a static group to start pushing into Alexander (Savage). I will be posting a separate forum with details later if we are in need of a few non-free company members to fill in group spots!

Some members have just cleared their primal extremes! We plan on farming them weekly for glamour drops, and mounts. A few of us are very well versed in the encounters, and for five of the eight players in the party being new they did an amazing job in each instance! I am so proud of them for their dedication, and that we cleared Thornmarch (Extreme) once... without any wiping, that's like a record compared to most of the preformed party finder groups!

(12-3-2015): We just farmed Shiva for an hour, and had four pony drops in a row! We were clearing the instance in less than 3 minutes each run, so we expect to do the same for the other extremes here soon!

We have two versions of communication open currently. PSN voice chat is only open to PS4 players (it's unfortunate that PC players can't join it), and we have also decided to give PC programs a go. We are starting with mumble, testing out the free trial version before making any dedicated purchases.

We have gained some very valuable and colorful members, and everyone is having a blast!

The guild has been flourishing & members are growing into new roles to fill our free company with many unique skills. Aurum Spectrum has gained quite a few new faces & some older members of vanilla have returned.

Our recent Titan farm went very well. It took a few tries for everyone to get acclimated to the mechanics but that did not stop us from clearing him in under 4 minutes each go round!

Our group strives for quality over quantity & we look for people who are willing to learn & grow with each instance. We don't expect the best of the best from the start but we take pride in coaching those who are willing to learn (anything from class to instances!)

I have to use the player search feature which will only show your name if you are online, and not in an instance/duty. You can search for me that same way. Hello! I'm looking to transfer to Zalera. Probably today, once my alt unlocks her retainers so I can shift some money to her. She just has two dungeons left in the MSQ, hurrah!

A little bit about me: I'm very casual about endgame. I've only just unlocked Alex Normal and haven't run it yet. I'm an AST main and over all career healer (my WHM is 50 and SCH is 55). Previous to FFXIV, I was a healer in Warcraft (played as a priest, druid, shaman and was just starting a pally) - suffice to say I know healing very well and I know very little about DPS and even less so about tanking (it scares me).

What intrigued me about your guild is it very much reminds me of a LS I was in before I took a hiatus from the game (this one)... it's focus was on having a positive, attitude and helping people and over all friendliness. I was very much hoping to find a new home like them on my new server, so seeing this post cemented my decision in moving here.

Serenity Moonlight, I attempted every couple hours during my game-play for the past week to conduct a player search for you in-game. Your name never popped up but that could be because you were in an instance, or offline. I see that you have found a different free company now though. I wish you the best of luck, if you do have plans to continue a search for the right free company you are always welcome to contact me. Aurum's family is always looking to grow, and gain members.

Nosdn Ballard, I will be attempting to contact you in-game now as well. I am usually online from 8pm-9pm until 2am EST every night, and sometimes even until 4am EST so if you could help out by doing a player search using my name every now and again to try to contact me that would be great! You can always look up Aurum Spectrum, and player search a few members that you find there, and then view their company profile in-game to send in an application to the free company. It's the best, most reliable way to be able to contact us, and us, you.

Aurum Spectrum has been starting to settle down from it's current move! We have moved from our medium house in the Lavenders Beds to the calming shores of the Mist (the housing district of Limsa Lominsa). The free company as a whole agreed to stick with a medium house because we felt the 200 furniture limit in a large house would leave it pretty bear. A medium house suits us, and we've all come to love the new home.

Our members have been working hard at collecting end-game maps, and our master weaver has been crafting the thavnairian bustiers for members. Two people have received them so far!
