Square did something similar with the Chocobo game that came with FF7 & ran on PC & WonderSwan (IIRC). You could even find things in the mini-game that transferred to the full game, like Ribbons! That's what I was hoping for with Triple Triad & the lore book could do the same. Encourage reading of hidden websites, or proof you've played another FF title.

Well most of the lore that would be in a database shouldn't be a spoiler anyway since lore is more about world building than the actual story in game.
