I you play mostly during EU hours, any of the EU servers are probably a better choice.
May I advertise my server, in that case?
Ragnarok is a large server, very very populated, not just the endgame areas either. Surprisingly, lots of newbies too!
Because we have many accomplished crafters, prices on the market board tend to stay more moderate than on non-legacy servers, and...ehm..what else to say..lots of nice people? xD
The raid scene isn't dead like on many other servers, and in the evening our PF usually has between 25 and 40 groups looking for members to do aaaall kinds of content
And we share df with other populated servers like Shiva and Odin, so df works just fine too :3

Hah, had to stalk you in this thread. ^ pretty much what he says tho. Ragnarok is also one of the high populated servers as well, forgot to mention that.

moogle is one of the most populate eu server, but is true here whe have the same amount of english french and spanish ppl, so yeah you have better choices.

Judging by these numbers, which are not official but usually not that far off, there isn't a big difference between Ragnarok, Shiva, Odin and Moogle in terms of absolute active players. If we only talk about people in endgame who finished the HW scenario, Moogle is a bit on the lower side of the EU servers though, so that might explain why it feels less busy or something..?^^
As you can also see though, all of them have about 3 times as many active players as Durandal, so I think each and any one of them would be a good choice
