The thing with hunts is that if you're not there when people start fighting it, the hunt will be invisible on your screen. Also, if there's even one party early pulling, you kind of have to find something else to do for a bit unless you enjoy teleporting around and missing hunts over and over. Besides that the only issue I've had with PS3 have been minor things like in void ark the first mobs are invisible to me sometimes for a few seconds. Same thing with the add room before 3rd boss. Also, loading times are pretty bad.

Like other said, yeah try to upgrade as soon as you can, it really does make the game way more enjoyable. I'm personally going to be going back to pc in about a month. I had to play on ps3 for a while because my old pc died and I didn't have the money for a while to get a new one.

Edit: just noticed you were new, you wont really have to worry about hunts and void ark and hunts for a little while so what I said isn't such a big deal for now(besides long loading screens).

The PS3 struggles to render objects/players/npcs when there are many of them condensed into a single area. It may not render until after it's dead and everyone leaves. If it does render, your frames per second may be too low to get a hit in before it dies. This problem is usually localized to higher population servers. If you're on a lower pop server, you should be fine.

here is the solution for that; join a party by shouting invite please, go to the location and spam aoes like ice 2,doton etc and you get your hunt points.
